The Nipmuck Mountain Laurel is a rounded evergreen shrub, reaching 4 to 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide in about 10 years. The long leaves are leathery and dark green, making an attractive shrub year-round. The flowers are carried in large clusters at the ends of all the branches, showing as bright red buds from late winter and through spring.
