Molinia caerula 'Moorhexe'

Moorhexe is an upright clump-forming grass that grows 36 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Moorhexe, a German word that means moor witch, has narrow green leaves that turn golden yellow in the fall and is topped by deep purple flower spikes from July through September. Plant in full sun as a specimen or mass planting; purple moor grass is very hardy and reliable.
